I deem it a great privilege to extend a hearty welcome to the Website of Government College ( UG & PG ) Anantapur, A.P, India. It is popularly known as “The Grand Old Lady of Rayalaseema” started in 1916, is one of the oldest and most prestigious Government Institutions in Andhra Pradesh, spread over in 16 acres in the heart of Anantapur city, which is Reaccredited at "A" grade by NAAC in 2011.

Over the years, with the increased intake of students as of now with 25 full fledged departments offering 29 Under Graduate and 6 Post Graduate Programmes under the affiliation to Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, the College has around 5400 students, 115 Teaching staff and 86 Non-Teaching staff. The College ranks among the top in the state in the quality education and in the number of top positions held by its graduates.

I am very much thankful to the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P, Hyderabad for permitting to have our College Website in their domain.
